Portrait Sessions

We all look better in front of a camera when we're relaxed and happy with our environment. To achieve this I like to agree with clients in advance of the day of the photoshoot the style of photos they are looking for and the groupings of people involved, i.e. just children, whole family, parents, grandparents and combinations of each. this may be done face-to-face or by phone/email, however where young children are included in the photos I find it better to meet in person which helps put the children at ease for the day of the shoot.

To keep it relaxed I find many people prefer the shoot to take place in their own home or at an outdoor location. We are fortunate that Bath and the surrounding areas have many beautiful locations and I am happy to advise on good spots which will compliment the style of the photos.

Having agreed on style and location in advance the actual session should typically last no more than 2 hours, and the photos will normally be available to view on-line within a week.

All prints are supplied as a minimum in presentation mounts, but a number of clients prefer to have the prints supplied framed or in other styles such as canvas or acrylic. I am happy to advise on the presentation styles which would best suit your photographs taking into consideration where they will be displayed.

Session prices start at £75 with individual prints from £12.
